Christmas Movie Marathon

We will be hosting a Christmas Movie Marathon on Saturday, December 13! We will be showing three movies between 2-8 PM. Proceeds from this event will go to our MCS Annual Fund. There will be concessions available for purchase, including hot chocolate! The suggested donations per person is $5. We will be showing the movies in the MCS Cafetorium, please enter through the Cafetorium entrance. All students 5th grade and under must be accompanied by an adult.

The movies shown will be as follows:

The Muppet Christmas Carol – 2 PM

The Muppets’ version of the Dickens holiday classic about a miser who’s visited by three ghosts features Kermit the Frog as the penny-pincher’s hardworking and loyal employee.

The Star – 4 PM

An adventurous donkey named Bo goes on an epic journey while using a star for navigation, which eventually leads him to the birth of Jesus. Along the way, he is joined by a number of animal companions, including a lost sheep and a proud dove.

Polar Express – 6 PM

The Academy Award-winning team of Tom Hanks and director Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump, Cast Away) reunite for The Polar Express, an inspiring adventure based on the beloved children’s book by Chris Van Allsburg. When a doubting young boy takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery that shows him that the wonder of life never fades for those who believe.
