International Student Host Families Needed at MCS

Middletown Christian School is looking for loving host families for international students who are interested in attending MCS and experiencing life in an American Christian school and family.

Hosting an exchange student is about much more than providing a place to stay. It is an opportunity to:

  • Welcome a new culture into your home
  • Build a lasting friendship
  • Give your children the opportunity to have a new brother or sister
  • Share your family traditions and everyday life
  • Help a student experience an American Christian school community

You do not need to have a perfect schedule or an extraordinary home. What matters most is providing a welcoming, supportive environment where a student can feel like part of the family.

Students will have the opportunity to attend MCS, participate in school activities and athletics, become involved in the community, and experience the everyday life of an American family.

Local coordinator Kim Shreve will provide support and guidance throughout the hosting experience and will be available to help families along the way. Kim has worked with Middletown Christian School for more than 18 years and also organizes activities throughout the year for exchange students and their host families.

If you are interested in learning more about becoming a host family, please contact Kim:

You may not know exactly what hosting an exchange student would look like for your family, but you can start by simply asking questions. This could be an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the life of a student while gaining a new member of your family along the way.

Thank you for considering this opportunity and for helping make Middletown Christian School a welcoming place for students from around the world.
