UPDATE: After closely watching the forecast for Friday, we made the hard decision to cancel Friday with the Fellas that was going to take place tomorrow night. We apologize for the inconvenience. Stay tuned for a make up date!

Our first annual Friday with the Fellas is May 3rd. All male students are encouraged to invite their dad, grandpa, uncle, older brother, youth pastor, or male mentor to join them for a guys’ night down by the pavilion. There will be games, archery, hotdogs and marshmallows around the fire. It will be a great opportunity for the men of MCS to enjoy some outdoor time with each other!

Join us TONIGHT for an evening of delicious spaghetti at our school’s fundraising dinner! Leave the cooking and cleanup to us as you enjoy a hearty meal prepared with care by our dedicated team. By attending, you not only treat yourself to a satisfying dinner but also support our students and their endeavors. Your contribution goes directly towards our middle school’s Washington, D.C. trip. So, gather your friends and family for an evening of good food and community spirit, all while knowing you’re making a difference in the lives of our students.

Our Spring Art Show will be on May 7 at 6:30 PM in the GBC Gym! You don’t want to miss it!

During the week of April 22-26 MCS will be giving the IOWA Assessments to all students in grades K-12. This test enables both parents and MCS to track achievement in learning. In the high school classes, the state of Ohio has allowed us to use the IOWA testing scores to enable our students to complete the necessary state graduation requirements in place of the Ohio end-of-course exams. Students in grades K-12 will take the entire IOWA battery of tests for their grade level. This includes the 8th grade Algebra 1 class. School hours will remain the same for all grade levels. The elementary classes (grades K-5) will be taking the tests on the individual classroom teacher’s schedule. The middle and high school grades will be on a special class schedule during this week. However, all students need to report to homeroom at the regular school time beginning each day. Please do not schedule student appointments that would cause them to miss class time that week. It is important that all students be on time each day, well-rested, and have had a good breakfast each morning so that they will be well-prepared and able to do their best. If you have any questions about the IOWA testing week, please email (dustin.brown@mcseagles.net) or call Mr. Brown at extension 1188.

There will be no school for Faculty, Staff and Students from Friday, March 29 through Monday, April 8 for Spring Break and Easter Break! School will resume on Tuesday, April 9.
