Fundraising Information

The fundraising period will run from March 30 through April 15.

We have a goal of raising $20,000 for our MCS Scholarship Fund! We want to reach students who would otherwise not have an opportunity to attend or remain at MCS. Let’s be a blessing to families as they pursue the gift of a Christian education for their students.

  • Students will receive individual fundraising folders on Friday, March 27.

  • All donations will be flat donations this year (no per-lap donations).

  • Completed folders should be returned to school by Wednesday, April 15.

Prizes

If you raise the following amounts, you will win:

$100 – Walkathon T-Shirt

$175 – Jeans Day for May (this means you will get to wear jeans, sweatpants or joggers EVERY DAY in May!)

$250 – Walkathon Sweatshirt

In order to receive credit for online donations towards earning prizes, you must record the donation on your fundraising folder that was sent home with students on Friday, March 27.

We will be hosting a Spring Movie Marathon on Saturday, April 11! We will be showing three movies between 2-8 PM. Proceeds from this event will go to our MCS Annual Fund. There will be concessions available for purchase. The suggested donations per person is $5. We will be showing the movies in the MCS Cafetorium, please enter through the Cafetorium entrance. All students 5th grade and under must be accompanied by an adult.

The movies shown will be as follows:

Zootopia – 2 PM

In a city inhabited by anthropomorphic animals, an uptight rabbit police officer is forced to work with a charismatic fox con artist in order to get to the bottom of a major case involving the disappearance of carnivorous citizens.

Cars – 4 PM

A cocky hot rod gets stranded in a desert town en route to a big race, and gets a long-overdue lesson in humility. With the help of the town’s quirky car population, he learns that sometimes life is more about the voyage than the outcome of the race.

Tangled – 6 PM

When the kingdom’s most wanted, and most charming, bandit Flynn Rider hides in a mysterious tower, the last thing he expects to find is Rapunzel, a spirited teen with an unlikely superpower: 70 feet of magical golden hair! Together, the unlikely duo sets off on a fantastic journey filled with surprising heroes, laughter and suspense.
