MCS Families,
This information is for all parents with students in grades 6–11.
Cedarville University’s Dual Enrollment Department will be hosting our College Credit Plus (CCP) Information Meeting at MCS on Monday, February 9th, at 6:30 PM. Middle School students are invited to attend in accordance with state guidelines. This meeting will review the steps, requirements, and deadlines for participation in the College Credit Plus program and will include information relevant to students who are currently enrolled in CCP as well as those considering participation.
Any student considering CCP courses for the 2026–27 school year is strongly encouraged to be in attendance. Students who are unable to attend will receive the PowerPoint presentation via email.
Please note that Cedarville University courses are not an option for students until they have earned a minimum of one-half (½) credit in all core subject areas.
What is College Credit Plus (CCP)?
Ohio’s College Credit Plus program allows students to earn both high school and college credit simultaneously by taking courses through approved community colleges or universities. The purpose of CCP is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and provide college-ready students with a variety of academic opportunities. The CCP program is free for all eligible students.
All families will be required to sign off on the information presented during this meeting. If you have any questions prior to the meeting, please feel free to reach out.
We look forward to seeing you there.
