High School Retreat

We are excited to announce our High School Retreat for Monday, October 19! This year, we will be spending the day at Camp Lebanon for a time of fellowship, fun, and spiritual encouragement with our high school students and faculty.

The purpose of our annual retreat is to strengthen relationships between students and faculty, encourage our students in their walk with Christ, and continue building a Christ-centered atmosphere and attitude throughout our high school.

Students should arrive at school at the regular time on October 19. We will plan to leave MCS by approximately 8:45 a.m. and will return to school by approximately 8:00 p.m. This retreat will count as attendance for the regular school day.

Throughout the day, students will have opportunities to participate in a variety of activities at Camp Lebanon, including:

  • Fishing and canoeing on the pond
  • Paintball
  • Axe throwing
  • Archery
  • Basketball
  • Gaga Ball
  • Small zip-line
  • Fellowship and group activities

Most importantly, we will have two chapel times during the day with Pastor Tony Liuzzo. These times will give our students the opportunity to step away from the activities, worship together, hear from God’s Word, and focus on the spiritual purpose of our retreat.

This will be a day-long retreat rather than an overnight trip, but we are looking forward to making the most of our time together and creating a meaningful experience for our students.

Please be in prayer that this retreat will be an encouragement to our students and faculty and that God will use our time together to strengthen relationships, build community, and help establish a strong spiritual foundation for our high school.

If your student works, please have them adjust their schedule accordingly to ensure that they are in attendance for the retreat.
